Fish Eagle Lodge sits on the hillside above Gariep Dam — an easy stop on the N1 between Johannesburg and Cape Town, and a destination in its own right once you see the water from the pool deck.
Five luxury en-suite rooms and an apartment in the main lodge, plus two self-catering units next door at Fish Eagles Nest. Heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, spit braai, and a restaurant turning out wood-fired pizzas most nights.
